About this training
This course looks at different forms of abuse, including, physical, psychological, financial, sexual, emotional and coercive control. It looks at the role of the therapist, and aims to equip therapists with sound knowledge around assessments, contracts and boundaries. It does this by considering potential dilemmas, such as, when a client presents as having 'anger management' problems, when it is abuse. This event is unique in that, it explores both victim and perpetrator perspectives.
