About this training
Loss and bereavement are one of the most common aspects in the counselling room, often overlooked and often taboo even with counsellors.
How can we successfully work with others's loss, if we do not look at our own experiences?
This CPD will look at the main models inc. Kubler Ross, Worden and dual purpose. It also questions the place of these models in loss work, types of loss including complicated grief.
This training is facilitated by Ri Punt - counsellor, lecturer and supervisor working with members of the public, counselling trainees and both student and qualified supervisees. Ri has worked with children and young people, Domestic abuse survivors, perpetrators of abuse, young offenders, and military veterans. Ri’s wide experience spans 20 years of working within the community, both therapeutically and as a youth and community practitioner. Most recently Ri has been working exclusively online with young people, and in private practice.
