About this training

This workshop will provide the opportunity for you to discover what is involved in setting up, and maintaining, private practice.

Throughout the day, in small groups and in the large group, we will look at:

  • the difference between ethical and legal responsibilities by dispelling some common myths about private practice
  • what to charge, exploring the costs involved in running a private practice and how to make it pay
  • assessing and documenting risk and justifying decisions ethically
  • aligining your private practice with your passion to ensure your work is rewarding

Venue

Plymouth Science Park
1 Research Way
Plymouth
PL6 8BX

Doors open 9.30am for a 10am start.

The day will be facilitated by Mark Hartshorn and Jo Schroeder who are both tutors at the hub and have been successful in establishing private practices.

They will share their wealth of knowledge during the day and offer some experiential and creative ways of exploring these important aspects of private practice.
