About this opportunity
Vestige Healthcare invites applications from Psychologists & Psychotherapists with experience of Cognitive Analytic Therapy to lead our psychologically-informed, CAT-focussed model of care in our in-patient services across the West Midlands.
Based in primarily Nuneaton, we would like a dynamic individual to join our MDT in delivering CAT-informed care and consultation to a range of clients with complex mental health diagnosis and emotional health needs.
A motivated, compassionate individual will undertake comprehensive assessment, develop formulations that guide consultation and care and offer evidence-based therapies to service users aged 16+ in transition and high dependency rehabilitation settings. The role will also include supervision and support to other therapists and members of the MDT in the service.
Vestige healthcare is an independent mental health care provider delivering innovative, person-centred, recovery-focussed care in 3 facilities across the West Midlands; a 16-25 year olds in-patient transition service with high dependency provision in Nuneaton, a mixed, adult in-patient high dependency rehabilitation facility in Dudley and a mixed, adult residential rehabilitation facility in West Bromwich. Our service is multi-disciplinary offering psychologically-led care based upon a CAT-consultation model that involves the whole team to support service users to achieve reduced risk, improved well-being and increased independence.
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring individual to deliver CAT therapy and consultation and to contribute to research and service development. We are interested to hear from individuals with a wide range of therapeutic skills, however, experience of CAT is desirable and interest in pursuing the CAT model is essential to service delivery. Salary is negotiable and additional benefits including flexible working.
The service is due to open imminently and as a result we are looking for expressions of interest by Friday 11th October 2019.
