About this training
The person-centred basic encounter group provides an opportunity for both person-centred meeting and developing person-centred being. “In such a group the individual comes to know himself and each of the others more completely than is possible in the usual social or working relationships.” (Rogers, C. 1969, Encounter Groups, p16).
This experiential event offers a self-structured, self-facilitated space for person-centred practitioners and trainees where learning relating to encounter can be gained.
It offers the potential to develop a more person-centred way of being, through offering space to develop greater congruence and deeper understanding of both person-centred and encounter theory.
