About this networking event
A group for networking, supervision, skills and best-practice sharing for professionals who work occasionally, (or often) with LGBT+ clients (and their families).
For counsellors, psychotherapists, and other well-being professionals, where perhaps your own supervision / professional support does not have a broad enough LGBT+ cultural knowledge or experience to support your work with people from these client groups.
You may only occasionally work with LGBT+ identified clients, or do so often. either way you are welcome to book into any or all of the quarterly sessions offered (alternates between Exeter and Totnes) for just £7 a session ( £5 for your first one) Attendance also gives you a discount on annual listings fees on the IAAY directory of therapist for LGBTQ+ clients.
The objective is to network with others, share best practice and keep updated on information pertinent to working with these client groups.
The sessions are faciliated by either Tina Hill-Art or David Humeniuk, both counsellors and supervisors and registered BACP members who have extensive knowledge of working with these client groups, and many years of experience of delivering LGBT+ awareness training to professionals.
Tina runs the low cost counselling service for the South West wide LGBT+ support charity, The Intercom Trust, and David runs the group supervision sessions for The Intercom Trust.
