About this training
This awareness training aims to help attendees develop a deeper understanding of addiction and addictive behaviours.
It does this by covering the following areas:
What makes something an addiction?
Why do people become addicted?
This training helps therapists how to assess their motivation to change, and review potential triggers and cravings. The training prepares therapists how to consider relapse prevention plans, and how to help clients maintain their goals.
