About this supervision group
This online training session will use Zoom, reliable and good quality software, for holding online meetings and webinars.
I am a Clinical Psychologist & Accredited Cognitive Analytic (CAT) Therapist and Supervisor with 17 years’ experience of working in Sexual Health/HIV Services. I am looking to recruit Clinical/Counselling Psychologists or Psychotherapists/Counsellors to join this new CAT-informed supervision group for therapists whom are wanting to deepen their understandings and skills of relational approaches and apply these skills to address common relational issues when working with clients whose sexual behaviour is limiting or hurting them.
As a Clinical Psychologist and Accredited CAT Supervisor, I have much experience of integrating relational approaches to the supervision of a range of psychotherapies. For those who might wish to undertake formal training in CAT at a later date, it is worth bearing in mind that as I am an accredited CAT supervisor you may be able to submit two completed cases under my supervision as counting towards the eight cases required to complete the practitioner level CAT training. Please note that this is always at the discretion of the relevant course director.
CAT theory and practice is accessible and intuitive and in my experience supervisees without prior CAT experience are usually able to understand and integrate the approach without difficulty.
